Do you see this mess!? Over the last year, my craft room has become the catch-all for the entire house. At one point I even had a mattress in here! My craft room is supposed to be multipurpose for my husband’s music supplies and equipment, as well as, our family office. With that being said it’s more of a craft room but with extras sprinkled in.
This week my game plan is to get the table cleaned off so that I can move it out and put my new IKEA table in. That is way easier said than done. As you can see below there is a lot of crap on that table: guitar supplies, tools, Cricut supplies, baby formula bottles (I thought they would make good supply containers-nope.) You could play “search and find” with my craft table! Here, see how much of a catch-all it really is.
Now let’s see what kind of mess Marie is facing:
Thankfully I am not alone! Thirteen other bloggers, including Marie, are also participating in the challenge with me. So if you don’t have a catch-all craft room, you may have one like one of the other hosts. You can see some of them in this video and also by visiting their before posts below.
Welcome to the 2018 Craft Room Challenge! From January 3rd through January 31st, 12 crafty bloggers will be sorting, organizing, cleaning, and decorating their craft spaces. Each of us has a very different craft space to tackle, so chances are you will find one similar to yours. We’d love for you to join in on the fun challenge and clean right alongside us. Follow along and join in on social media by using #craftroomchallenge and #confessyourmess. You can also find us and the challenge via our social media accounts you’ll see listed on each of our sites. We’ll also have 15-minute mini daily challenges for you in case you have limited time to dedicate to the challenge. We hope you share your messy spaces and progress with us so we don’t feel alone this month!
Before you see the rest of the crafty spaces, please meet our lovely hosts:
